hips locked up so tight
(good god you drive me crazy)
yes, for the record, i did in fact see dmb tonight. unexpectedly. for $40. shimmied down to some closer seats, squirmed around, got off a little, and enjoyed the view of my band with the backdrop of my city. they sounded tight. we decided we were satisfied after just the first little interlude(pNp, if you must know). had the obligatory beer break during crash(which is funny, seeing as i never leave for anything during full length shows) and missed all of bayou.
and then we hailed a cab, and scurried on back to the hill for some dags. and while i won't go into it too much for fear of making anyone wretch, i am quite happy with myself for making this whole dmb-and-dags-in-the-same-night thing happen. dmb opening for the dags, no less.
and yes, i'd ditch the rolling stones for daguerreotypes any day. seeing the building the stones erected for their set was quite enough, thanks.
and yes, we did get in for $40. to see dmb. last minute. which just made for quite the splendid tuesday evening. i must pat myself on the back.
