it's over!

that was one hung jury, though. let me tell you.

the only thing we could agree on was the fact that it was a shit case, and that the lawyers did not do their jobs at all. that in itself suggests a verdict of not guilty to me, but whatever. old people are really stuck in their ways and have a hard time understanding that we're supposed to use the rules the judge gives us and facts from the case ONLY, rather than speculation and opinions.

i'll blog more about it later - it really was an interesting experience.

just went and broke my lease.
and called my insurance agent and found out that despite the fact that my speeding ticket was a class 3 misdemenor, it won't effect my insurance rate. so i went and got a money order to send in the whole fucking $277. because my court date wouldn't be until mid march to mid april...and you figure in the fact that it'll cost me at least $150 to fly back here, plus the fact that my ticket would most likely just be dropped to $190...i'm gonna be paying out the ass no matter what. so...yeah. i'm just pleading guilty.

shock me shock me shock me with that deviant behavior.

damn. now i really wanna watch empire records.

anyway.

now i'm gonna start cleaning and burning cd's.
