saw "lord of the rings" earlier tonight. it's one of those movies i insisted on seeing in the theaters. i loved it! highly intelligent and so much more creative than i realized it was. i had to pee one hour in(we're talking a three hour movie here, folks), and i couldn't bring myself to leave to go to the bathroom because i knew i'd miss something important.

which leads me to my important thought of the day. movie theaters, especially these massive ones that have been popping up for the past few years, should be required to have bathrooms within 20 feet of each theater door. because there was ONE bathroom in this particular theater that i was at tonight. and it was at the opposite end. we're talking a 16-screener here. and that is just no fun.
