i'm watching dateline nbc right now...it's a reunion story about this man who never returned from vietnam. i'm not gonna get into the details, because that's not my point.

my point is how disturbed it makes me to see a vietnam vet talk about his experiences. or try to, at least. i can't fathom something that brings a man to tears just at the mention of it 30 years after the fact. that's horrifying. just that look in their eyes...

war scares the hell out of me.
