i feel the need to discuss my room. i'm cleaning and organizing and rearranging right now, and i keep looking at it and laughing. everything is so packed in here. and i'm all about decorating, and i have so much...

you have the wall my desk is against. on the left side of my desk is that massive dave poster it seems everyone has. and then a big blown up picture of dave and boyd from rock in rio. and my poster and VIP pass from last year's earth day celebration with pete yorn and jack johnson. and then square everyday promo poster on foam board. above my desk is the actual giants stadium thank you ad thing. and a listener supported promo poster, both backed on foam board of course. on my actual desk, i have tons of pictures, and plants and knick knacs, and the "tour art" matias sent me framed, and butch and tawatha(my stuffed pig and monkey i bought on a road trip with rach) and cards lenelle has sent and some cd's and my phish big cypress set. then to the right of my desk is my jack johnson october 2002 tour poster above a square jack poster i ripped off the wall at some show. next to those are a mayer poster i ripped off the wall at the 10/9 seattle show, and above that is a howie poster i ripped off the wall at the first howie show i was at, with my pass from the pullman show.

yeah, i do believe ripping posters off walls at shows is the absolute best way to decorate.

then the wall with my bed...i just took down a david gray poster and a van goh and put up my dave and tim poster from oakdale. then centered above my bed is a huge black and white of the new york city skyline in 1939. then there's a dahli. next wall has another dahli, a big window, and then my autographed mayer 8x10(no, not 3x5), a full page newspaper front with dave from boulder(on foam board, of course), and then the pic joyce gave me of dave and james brown, and then a picture nate took at groundwork and printed out for me.

the final wall has a collage i made back in like july of '01 with pictures of my freaks, and bowa lyrics in the center. below that is a picture of dave i took out of a calendar. then my closet door and huge amoir. and then, my dmb calendar :)

of course i have pictures and other stuff absolutely everywhere. postcards of seattle, little stuffed animals and boxes and plants and candles.

yeah, it's totally cluttered. but meaningfully so. i think this is my favorite room ever.
