i was thinking about whether or not my stance on the war issue would change if i had some solid evidence of all these allegations that the president and co. have thrown out. some hardcore facts. and i honestly don't yet know the answer to that.

but one thing really rang true with me. there are people who still really trust our government. they trust the president and co. when they tell us something, they don't have a need for proof or reasoning, they just trust that the government will do what is in our best interest.

i don't even have a concept of that trust right now. it's not even an afterthought. i never stopped to realize that they might have "proof" but just can't share it with us for whatever reason. i just don't trust what they tell me at all.
