i made the best purchase today. relix magazine. i picked it up because i knew dmb was on the cover. and i know that it is a "jam band" magazine, so i'm sure this particular cover story will cause some controversy in that arena, seeing as the majority of "jam band" fans happen to be dmb haters. well...if not a majority, then a very vocal minority.

anyway.

i open it up, and there's a full page ad for the bonnaroo cd. and a full page ad for disco biscuits. ads for soulive and medeski martin and wood and string cheese... articles on festivals with people i actually care about. review for albums i'd actually want to listen to - including seattle's own maktub. nickel creek. karl denson's tiny universe. just all these bands that i'm so into. it got me really excited. perhaps too excited for a 4 dollar magazine.
