so...i decided to watch a little TV while lying in bed. only thing on is a news program on NBC about the attacks in afghanistan.

what the hell are we doing?

seriously. what the HELL are we doing? i can't wrap my mind around what is going on. and i can't understand what purpose a third week of bombing is serving. this is feeding the intense hatred that prompted the september 11th attacks in the first place. why is no one questioning this? i can't believe americans are this ignorant and willing to just turn the other way.

there's so many thoughts i have on all this...thoughts that i won't even breathe life to because the reality of them is staggering and not something i want to face up to.
